13 years to realize it
To actually see
What I put you through

I'm sorry that it's taken me
13 years to put aside
To put aside all my pride
So I could and would see

I'm sorry that it's been this way
I'm sorry for the words I say
I'm sorry for the fights we've had
I'm sorry just for everything bad

I'm sorry to the most important person I know
I'm sorry this is the way it had to go
You are too good to forget
And I love you for it.
