Your Leaving

by Tanya, Mom of one.   Oct 26, 2005

I see a glint of happiness,
When I look into your eyes.
Some kind of flicker, then its gone,
And I wonder why it hides.

I know your leaving in a few days,
Its so hard to let you go.
But if this move brings you happiness,
Its for the best, I know.

I will miss your touch, your voice,
your calls,
I will miss the feel of your skin.
I miss you so bad already,
That I don't know when the pain will end.

I lay down at night and sink into my bed,
I cry myself to sleep.
I wish you were here beside me,
So quietly I weep.

I hope you don't forget me Bryan,
When I said I would be here, my words were true.
I also meant it when I said the words....
I truly do love you.

Goodbye sweetheart, Don't forget to call,
I hope you find what ever your needing.
Don't forget, I'll be here waiting,
My heart constantly Bleeding.
