Calling from a hilltop

by Jennie   Oct 27, 2005

I know i've lost you,
to the mist of time
I know that I will miss you,
through and through
as time goes by.
But I dream...
and pray for you,
to hear my call
far across the
barren sea.
For I wait on a hilltop,
and gaze to the sunset,
far beyond the
sailing white clouds...
I believe that my wishes
will reach you,
although you may be
blind to my love.
For my whispers
will reach you,
across the flowers,
through the fields,
over the mountains,
of snowy fair.
I'm here
calling...
calling...
calling...
from the distant hilltop,
from the rocky shore,
I close my eyes
and dream that the distance
will never be so far.
The feeling of the sun,
shining on my tears,
farewell my heart
is saying,
to the ship that has departed.
My world is melted
to the teary depths
of sadness,
as I wait above the world
and climb...
to find you,
for my last wishes
are dying fast,
with warmth that
will lose to snow.
I...
will never...
forget you...

    We rarely forget love..
it was a really nice poem, it doesn't need to ryhme, and thís is an example, see what it lacks in rythm it makes up for in pictures and expression. Regards Arun.
