Forgotten

Fall away
into the deep end.
Dissolve
tingling, into the shadows.

Catch the scream in your throat,
feel it scrape and cut.
Swallow it,
and bottle it up.

Hold it in,
nobody cares,
Let it eat you
Until you fade away.

Until you fall through,
break the surface of the water.
Sink underneath,
fall into sleep,
Warm and dark,
and peaceful

Fade.
Begone from this world.
Rest forever in darkness,
until only your memory remains
faded and chipped,
and yet forgotten.
