Vanishing Memories

Vanishing memories,
all the times that we shared
seem to fade away
with a love that was rare.

So innocent in love
so happy and free,
such a wonderful feeling
that wasn't meant to be.

At times it was hard
sometimes even bad.
But it never could stop
the love that we had.

We helped each other
and changed each other's lives
he'll never know
but my self he revived.

We've both gone
our separate ways
not even friends,
and memories still fade.

But before i forget
I wanted to thank you
for these vanishing memories
and a heart thats renewed.
