Every time you laugh
I wanna hold you closer

I hear you say "That's her"

Every time you hold my hand
I see stars around my head
Every time you hug me
I remember everything you said

Every time you're near me
I feel as light as air
Every time your step is mine
I know you really care

Every time you say you're there
I know that you are true
Every time you speak your mind
I don't feel stupid speaking too

Every time you tell me how wrong I am
I know how much you're right
Every time you say "It's perfectly fine."
I know you never want to fight

Every time you cuddle with me
I know that you wouldn't be anywhere else
Every time you tease me
I know I can be myself

Every time you cheer me up
I know you really like me
Every time you kiss my cheek
I know this is meant to be

Every time you read this poem
I hope you think of all the times we spent
Every time you think of me
I hope you look back on the days that went

Every time you count days
I hope you remember the times
Every time you care to remember
