Future

by †Rachel Joan†   Oct 30, 2005

If you look outside
the streets are bare
Except for trash abandoned there.

A girl behind a rubbish bin
she needs some food
cause she's so thin.

The moon and stars are not in sight.
They hold no hope
for future bright.

But what about this starving child
left outside in the wild?

No one's here to comfort her
no mum, no dad, police officer.

Where is everyone?

What has been done?

Is this how it's gonna be
for everyone, you and me?

If this future is so crude
the world today will soon be screwed.
