I see you walking this way
my heart skips a beat
did i just catch you watch me
from the corner of your eye?
you pass me by and i just stand there
there's just too much i can't say
i watch your back,
hoping you'd turn,
even for a moment...
and just look into my eyes
but you just kept on walking
like you did so many times before...
an overcast sky
my sunlight blocked
my hope seems frail
will it soon be all lost?
another creeps by
and i still don't have you back by my side.
i cry myself to sleep tonight
knowing you'll never be mine
and all the while i wonder...
when will i ever get over you...?
