The last dragon

by shadowlight   Nov 1, 2005

Protector of ancient knowledge,
hidden within the earth,
long is it since you've shown yourself,
your hidden but not forgot,
one day you know it will be your time,
to reappear, take your rightful place,
once again you'll rule the skies,
your fiery breath seen from afar,
back to take your fiery reign,
the last but not the end,
though you the legend remains.

Interesting write. Really shadowlight, I like you already. lol. This poem has a fairly amount of fantasy feel to it, mysterious and dreamy. You should have added it to the fantasy section. lol.

That was really fascinating and cute. There are a couple language errors but overall good work.
