What if life was like a movie?
You could fast forward,
And see your future.
Or simply skip the times you hate.
Something simple like a test,
Or something sad like a broken heart.
You could rewind,
And go back to times you love.
Childhood, independence,
Or whatever that time may be.
You could pause on certain moments.
Make them last forever.
Be caught in a screen,
Of total happiness.
Re-live a certain time.
Like a photograph.
You could live forever.
But would you be happy?
Would this really be life?
What is life without the hard times?
Would you really experience,
Everything you came here for?
Would you leave satisfied?
The only things we can do is wonder.
Wonder what things would be like,
If they weren't the way they are.
We can't rewind life and we can't fast forward it.
But we can keep the memories and learn to move on.
