The Secret

No body knows
and no one is told
that the girl who was once a lover
is becoming so cold

you can hear her heart beating
as slow as can be
and the girl just sits silently
on her knees

she tried to hold on
to the love she once had
but as hard as she tries
it just leaves her so fast

she cant do this much longer
she just cant hold on
she trembles with fear
as her body turns numb

the room begins shaking
she falls to the floor
as shes laying there crying
someone comes to the door

she sees the knob turning
she doesn't know what to do
and the woman standing before her just stood there
not believing it was true

the sight left her crying
she didn't know why
