Fly High

by Tiffany   Dec 10, 2003

Doesn't matter what we do,
Doesn't matter what we say.
Doesn't matter how hard we try,
When in the end we have to pay.

We loved him so much and he passed away,
God showed him the doors to Heavens' gate.
He was a good man and had a good life,
Since he had Heart-Failure he'll get to see his wife.

I hope he knows we love him and really miss him so,
But when he was sick I held his hand and felt pain from head to toe.
Flash-Backs of Christmas fill my head,
Even though it happened we know I can't believe he's dead.

I hope he went happily and knows how much we care,
Even though dying is a part of life it still isn't fair.

But I think he wants us to be happy and take care of eachother,
And since its hard on everyone i'll be strong and take care of my mother.

So everytime the wind blows I know it's him and wonder how he's doing,
I hope he found Grandma and is happy, now listen for I am not fooling.

Life is no joke you have to take it seriouslly,
Cause' you'll never know what you'll loose and then you'll miss it dearly.
So when someone says "I Love You" mean it when you say it back,
Cause' that might be the last time you'll ever see them and once they're gone you'll never get them back.

~*Fly High Grandpa until you touch the sky~*
(In loving memory of Harry Schulist) He died on 12-9-03
