It's You

by Dark   Nov 3, 2005

It'll tell another lie, just to confuse your heart
Even though you're used to it, it'll still rip you apart
Everyday another story, it lies to your face
It laughs knowing you let yourself become such a perfect disgrace.
It feels so nice and peaceful, with hate deep inside
It loves to crush your spirit, and it loves to tell its lies.
it gives those short little reasons, tries to brighten your day
only waiting for the perfect chance, to take it all away
It's the one thing that can break you, you'll just never know
You think you have control, but then you realize that you don't
It'll never take the time, to give a second look
You're the pages, it saw the cover, now it'll judge the book
Don't you ever expect, that one day it'll fade
this thing is stuck with you, it'll never go away
until that faithful day, when you find yourself in hell
It all makes sense to you, this thing is yourself.
