The Tale of the Soulless Fairy

You used to care almost everything about me,
Whenever you sense that I feel sad or down,
You will ask me what was wrong and say 'can I fix it?',
And I usually reply you saying 'nothing was wrong, I'm just feeling tired...that's all.'

Everytime I cry, I try to hide my tears from you,
But the more I try to hide, the more you sense something wasn't right,
And you will just stay beside me and say 'everything's gonna be alright, I promise you.'
And I BELIEVE YOU, and so your words always makes me stop crying.

But now things aren't the same anymore,
You promise me everything's gonna be alright,
So what makes this time different, why can't we be alright?
Because I love you? Or because you love her?

You didn't give me the answers to my questions,
Do you love me (before or now)? Do you even like me?
Was it wrong for me to love you? Can't we be best friends anymore?
Is it really that difficult? To answer my questions?

Why is that we become like strangers, when we used to be the best of friend,
I don't understand, you broke your promise, you lied,
You took away not only my heart, but my soul as well,
Now I'm left with nothing, as the emptiness takes over my mind.
