So Much Pain

She sits and she stares
at the face that appears to be hers
she wonders and wonders
why to her its such an ugly blur
she tries to understand
why theres so much pain in her eyes
she so badly wants to know
how long she'll have to hide these lies
she smiles and she laughs
praying the soreness wont show
she tries and she tries
to bring back the happiness and glow
shes nice and shes kind
when someone tells her "you know you're pretty"
she just laughs and says "yeah okay"
because she knows its out of pitty
she wants someone so bad
to convince her shes alright
she cant seem to believe anyone
that might be able to stop the tears at night
she thinks if people know
they wold ignore her and think its fake
she asks herself with pain in her voice
"who would actually care if this life i decide to take"
shes always looking down to the left
knowing the scars cant be the way to go
she knows that wrist cant take anymore
but no one will help cause no one will ever know
she feels so much pain
building up inside her heart
she cries tears of sadness
knowing her life is slowly falling apart
she wishes and she wishes
for god to listen to her prayers
she need him and wants him now
because that blade can only go a few more layers.
