Dusk

by DeathOnMyLips911   Nov 4, 2005

At dusk
we mend our broken vessels
broken hearts and joys
wipe our eyes
from unruly past
darkness takes over so fast

At dusk
we gaze into
a fragile future
uncertain and unsure
in disarray on foreign shores
we stand
wasted swimmers
in the sea of tears

At dusk
gloom appears soon to vanish
Hope and i
caught in the dreaming's embrace
clinging onto momentous bliss
and in moments
of expectation
joy may emerge at dawn.
