I Miss You...

by Kari Gibson   Nov 6, 2005

It was early august, I remember it so clear,
Even though I didn't shed a tear,
Inside I was confused,
I tried to keep my thoughts on the songs they used,
I thought it all was a joke,
That you were just broke,
But now I know that you are dead,
And I can't tell you how many tears I have shed,
I miss you very much,
I wish I would have told you such,
I love to remember all the memories,
When I would get on your back and we would play horsier,
Or that time I got in trouble,
But I know when we got ice cream that night, you gave me double,
These are the things I have to remember when I cry,
That god wanted some fun that's why you had to die,
I hope that you know I love you, and I can't wait to see you in heaven.

To my grandpa who died August 2003
