Forgotten

Memories lost,
i've been forgotten.
Dumped into a corner,
nobody notices.

Whatever i do,
i remained in the darkness.
Where no one notices,
where no one cares.

Wanting to get out of the darkness,
yearning for your attention.
But you remain in the light,
not once glancing back.

You never realise,
how i would feel.
You never once care,
how miserable i felt,
watching the meteors alone.

It's not fair,
you made me face all this alone.
