Graceful Struggles

by Jacklyn   Nov 6, 2005

She falls
Leaving her grace,
while venting angers
sorting her troubles
craving forgiveness

She falls
Opening her wounds
all emotional
her simple way to deal
to skate them away

She falls
On the hard ice
drenched with sweat
refusing to give in
proving resistance.

She falls
More vulnerable than before
pain builds up slow
as she skates hours more
Realizing she's not as strong

She gets up
Learning to forgive
to heal and move on
Learning she's not alone
She skates with grace again.
