Torn By Deception

by Ike Dizzle   Nov 8, 2005

Lead into this world and not sure if anything it right,
It seems like nothing is even to your delight,
Lost, with no one to trust,
Everything is tempting but you are trying to adjust,
In a place where lies run wild,
In a place where kindness is very mild,
In a place where it is hard to breathe,
Sometimes I just wonder how long my blood will seethe,
There is no where to rest,
You are heart is beating out of control in your chest,
Now you are passed out on the ground,
Lost in your own mind, no where to be found,
Now you have awaken tangled in lies,
And forced to hear everything that you despise,
And now, in this twisted conception,
You feel ever so torn by deception.

This was okay. I think the best thing about this piece was some of the rhymes, like 'trust - adjust'. I think that this piece also needed to have the lines at a simular length, to help it flow better.
