Sat And Stared?

Have you ever just sat and stared?
In the middle of the night
Stared into the darkness of your room
Your frozen solid
Unable to move
You sit and listen to the silence
You try and understand
Wonder how life got this complicated
Have you ever felt that feeling
You just want the night to end
You want to feel the safety and security of his arms
The warmth of his breath brushing down your neck
You try and promise yourself it'll be OK
But you have no idea what the outcome will be
Will things be the same tomorrow
Or is it all about to end
Have you ever just sat and had tears trickle out
Not even knowing your crying till tears slide down your cheek
Have you ever felt so weak, so alone, so scared
Grasping every second and trying to make it last
Just in case things are about to end
So many problems and thoughts running through your head
Have you ever just sat and stared in the middle of the night
