I watch

by mel   Nov 10, 2005

I sit and watch
the way he acts around other kids
and the way he doesn't even know my name

I stand in tears and watch
the way my mother
does absolutely nothing about the situation

I hide in the corner and watch
the way he charges towards me
anger in his eyes and hands balled into fists

I lay there dead no longer watching
the way people do when there is nothing left to hope for
and for once i am free.
