Ocean Tears

by Taylor Porton   Nov 10, 2005

I inhale the salty air
and remember
the pain, the hurt
I cry

I stand strong
shaking sand from my toes
so many grains

I move to the waters edge
hear waves crashing
pulsing and throbbing in my head

I look into the wind
watch tears fly off my cheeks
flying freely through the air
then falling helplessly into the furious waters
Gone forever

'Ocean Tears'? Very appropriate title. This is sad, but at the same time kind of nostalgically sweet. Nice job, Taylor.
