Reality

In life you are given things that never amount to shit,
People take for granted the little things, never appreciating the things that matter.
How can someone be so selfish, so ignorant,
Why do I even try anymore, its always overlooked.
You look at me as if I am a child, but I am not,
Everything I do is thrown in my face.
I guess you just choose not to see it, the pain you cause,
You put me down, I guess I just a disgrace.
You hand me the things that you think I need,
Who are you to now what I need in life.
My life is not something that someone else needs to plan,
I am very capable of doing it my way.
Why can you not just accept me,
My actions are not acceptable to you.
I hat e that you do not listen to what I say,
What I say is always turned around against me.
Should I even care anymore?
Are you even worth my tears?
You say it is all for my best interest.
But guess what, you don’t even know after all these years.
