Did You Think That They Care?

by Anthony   Nov 12, 2005

Falling short of living,
Out of dyings reach.
The world of cruel intentions,
Keeps on spinning without you.
Just because we're hurting,
Doesn't mean people will care.
The world is full of pain,
You and I are no exception.
Of everything we lose,
And all the nothing that we gain,
The common denominator,
Of our lives is pain.
Pitied looks of those who don't care,
Haunt your dreams like they do mine,
Our souls entwined and tied
Together by our similar pain.
But you fell, and stayed down,
You let the world win,
I refuse to give in until I die,
I fall, but I get up again

    Anthony ,
    First I must say ,
Dang you are one hot little cutie in that picture ...

Now I must say I loved this part the most.....
I refuse to give in until I die,
I fall, but I get up again

I am taken in by your strength to never give in , there is so much heartfelt meaning behind these two lines ...
I admire your courage to hold your head up and walk tall , because NO ONE has the right to treat you differently ...
Never give into the ignorant hungers of others that try to feed off of your sadness ...
Your strong will , will overpower all ignorance
    Love & Hugs Anthony ...

In the beginning, the rhyming was a bit off, but towards the end, the poem starts to get more interestingand I heart how you chose to end this particular poem.
