Time to wake up

It's raining outside
the light is gone
time to wake up
to another dawn

I used to have a light
but it didn't want to stay
I thought it was hidden
but my heart gave it away

the dark has finally won
it chased out the light
the good feelings are gone
with not one in sight

I thought the light was strong
but it fell apart
I guess the light was weak
just like my broken heart
