Ironic Love

We'd dance through all the ocean,
We'd swim through all the fields,
We'd stray too close to the footpath,
We'd ignore the helpful yields.

We'd laugh at all our sorrow,
We'd cry through brilliant love,
We'd try to be unnoticed,
We'd regard the things above.

We'd sing our special song,
We'd hum our witty tune,
We'd think of all the random,
We'd run across the moon.

We'd have our one small secret,
We'd share it through a word,
We'd call each other idiocy,
We'd listen to the unheard.

We'd look each other in the eye,
We'd have the moment's kiss,
We'd overlook the whole world,
We'd capture the endless bliss.

We'd love to hate each other,
We'd taunt our own mistakes,
We'd know our love would last forever,
We'd do whatever it takes.

    Matt,
    This is a lovely and whimsical, carefree poem. I like it a lot, however, I think it would be perfect if you'd edit one thing. I'd interchane the words dance, and swim on the first two lines, to read.. swim through oceans and dance through the fields instead of vice-versa. Full points luv'.
