So here i lay
on my bed.
Reflecting on the day,
pushing thoughts from my head.

My body aches
and longs for your touch.
Knowing this isn't just a break
hurts so much.

I sit here and fall apart.
Wipe the tears from my eyes
as i think of how she has your heart
and all i can do is watch time as by it slowly flies.

Falling in love with you
is something I do not regret.
Without you, I wouldn't know the sky could be so blue
and for me the sun would have only ever set.

The sun rose when i was with you,
the clouds parted,
birds chirped and flowers bloomed right on cue.
I explored worlds that were once uncharted.

I would give it all
to be the one who holds your heart.
You could be sure I wouldn't let it fall,
I would guard every single part.

If in your future there is a cloudy day,
then dont you fret.
I will do all i can to find a way.
