The One I Seem To Need

You've left me,
Standing all alone.
My body's numb with sorrow,
I've lost my way home.

I'm lost, depressed, and frightened,
For you're not here with me.
And somewhere deep inside my heart,
You'll always be.

I don't know if you coulda helped it,
Or if you honestly wanted to go,
But you left me,
Sad and all alone.

I have my parents,
I have my family,
And I have my friends.
I don't know why it is,
But i need you the most.

You understood me,
More then anyone I know.
You know when I cry,
When I'm feeling down and alone.

You helped me out when times were tough,
And helped to make me see,
You showed me the sun,
When I only saw the rain.

You gave me strength,
And given me the courage and faith,
To keep on staying alive,
And to keep on moving on.

So with my sand and loving heavy heart,
I must let you go,
But I will not say good-bye,
For good-bye is forever,
So I'll leave you with a bye,
To say its bye for right now,
And soon we'll meet up again.
