Mom

Mom-
You say you're proud of me,
You say you love me,
But do you truly care?
Yell at me for that B,
I guess principals honor roll's not good enough.
I'm not your perfect daughter,
I don't straighten my hair,
I don't put on that Tiffany's necklace,
I don't wear Abercrombie and Fitch
I don't listen to Usher and Gwen Stefani,
No.
I'm just your failure,
I don't care about my looks,
I have a shark tooth hanging from my neck,
I put on my black teeshirt and ripped jeans,
And go listen to Marilyn Manson.
Deep down,
You hate me a little bit,
But on the outside,
You love me by association.
