Muted silence

by Unrequited   Nov 15, 2005

The guilty shall be crushed
under the weight of the stars
and the death of suffering
will guide us once again
impatient insecurities
grant me the hole that was drilled in my heart
i cry aloud, for no one to hear
and the ants will feast on all the blood

you are mine
i am never yours
a kingdom crushed,
my fears left unforgiven
visions in my head...
masques cover the faces
of lost souls
who are now dead
i cry aloud, for no one to care
and the hearts of the hurt will fall to the ground

mute all tongues
silence all wars
ears bleeding,
heart covered in all the torment
i never forgive,
not me
spit the fire from our regretful tombs,
our graves that lie ahead
scratch the surface
of the heart never touched,
always left alone
unrequited
always on my own

defend all definitions
depend on the independent
and bleed your bleeding heart to me
so i can see
all the hurt
a silence always screaming
a voice never to be heard
i cry aloud, for no one to hear
and i will die, holding your heart in my hand

my heart on fire,
never your desire
all i feel is the shivering cold
my kingdom, forever crushed
and i thank you for all the pain

First forgive yourself, then forgive everyone else you haven't forgiven. Move on to a brighter future.

And I'm pretty sure I can hear you.

    Fabulishous poem. Darkness. wooh.
