Happiness is a smile,
That never runs out,
Happiness is tear,
That never falls to the ground.

Happiness is never losing,
Family or a friend,
Happiness is always having,
A helping hand to lend.

Happiness is holding you,
And never letting go,
Happiness is loving you,
More than you know.

But happiness is rare,
For someone to see every day,
For happiness is a gift,
That never seems to stay.

Happiness is never there,
When that tear touches the floor,
Or when no-ones there to tell you,
That they love you more.

Happiness is not there with you,
When you lose your one true love,
Or when you lose sight of that angel,
Your guardian sent from above.

But happiness is with you,
I see it in your eyes,
And will stay deep down inside you,
Until the day we die.
