Such a small word...such a huge meaning

My emotions are overwhelming... my heart is telling me, "do it he's true." but my mind is asking, "are you sure you won't get hurt?"

I don't know what to do. Tears fall but they are empty. My body is numb to my emotions. I can't feel, I don't want to.

I'm scared of the hurt, the pain, the empty meanings behind the hollow words. I can't put myself out there for fear of drowning in my unreal emotions.
