Emily (about pregnant teens)

by Desiree B   Nov 16, 2005

Young and helpless she wept that day,
She turns around but it is not the right way,
It hurts her to wonder about the easy way out,
She knows it is true with everyday that she counts,

She feels that the people who care may turn her away,
Not able to understand what the loved ones will say,
Abortion, adoption, drugging is all wrong,
The road will be rough and enevitably long,

It is growing inside of her rapidly,
Forming into her soon to be Emily,
She realizes she is going to give birth,
She is going to have someone to love and put first,

People may gossip and turn her away,
But her Emily will always be there at the end of the day,
The road may be rough and enevitably long,
But with her little girl she will always belong.
