Because of Your False Hugs

by The Depression Bard   Nov 18, 2005

Tonight we both lay awake,
Both in our own dark room.
Peering out our window,
Staring at the crescent moon.

You no longer want me,
It forces me to be like this
I'm unwilling to accept that:
My love, you'll no longer miss..

I hate that I love you.
And that you've forgotten me.
I'm on my knees begging,
Please, PLEASE set me free!

I cannot hold these thoughts much longer,
Are you mine, do you accept my embrace?
Or have you left, left me here,
Because you still cause my heart to race.
