What is he...

by Takisha   Nov 18, 2005

Tormented with lies
And deceitful eyes
That wander without hesitation
Trying hard to figure out how I got into this situation
Being blinded by the love I have for this man
This man that is exactly what he is not, a man
Because a man would never leave his child and wife at home
All times of the night he roams
Looking for someone else whose grass is greener
Greener that what I provided him for these past few years
Cooking, cleaning, dusting, sweating and shedding tears
Because of his fears and insecurities I choose not to go out
Because when I get home all you'll hear are shouts
I love this man
Here I ago again confusing my love for this person with that
That you would have for a man
A man would make sure that his family always comes first in his life
Instead of us playing house I would really be his wife
He made my son a bastard
No wait a minute that is something my son will never be
In actually that is exactly what he is, you see
In the dictionary besides being born out of wedlock it is also a an insulting terms of address for people who are stupid, irritating or ridiculous
But how good am I surrounding myself with his stupidness
I mean what do you call someone you spend six years with until the day he turns buckwild
It is a man or a child

He is child girl don't take his BS, you be the bigger person and take care of your son the best you know how, cuz ur obviously doing a dam good job of it by yourself. My dad's a mad a-hole too but he done worse. Be a happier person your great. No woman needs a "man" to take care of them anyways. You go girl. Check out meh poems please
