Over the years i have given you so much pain.
for this alone i feel great shame.

For every time i mess up do something wrong.
You cheer me up, you sing me a song.

You are the roots that go so deep into the ground.
i am the tree that blossoms all year round.

You had to bring us up with out any support.
every scraped knee every school report.

Day by day i realise what you have done.
with the race of life you have already won.

you have love for me that will never run thin.
to start to thank you i dont know where to begin.
