Sadness has consumed us
Depression is our nature
The people we once held close
Have suddenly become a trader
But who are we to judge whats pain
When we havent lived our life to its full
We make our life so full of drama
And think the world is so curl
But what about those who deal with pain everyday they live
Those people with no hope
And still continue you to give
But as soon as we have a fight, with a mom or with a dad
We claim the world is out to get us
We make ourselves so mad
Or what about an end to a relationship you thought would last
You say you want to end it all
But youre making those comments to fast
So many out there have it worse, and still continue to hang on
Fighting for and opportunity
Keeping themselves head strong
You say your lives are horrible
But you have a roof over your head
Yet despite all the blessing in your life
You still wish that you were dead
Many may disagree
And say I dont understand
Im not trying to be negative
But this is where I stand
Take a look at the people in your life
Who care and have your back
But as soon as they want to share their opinion
You open your mouth and attack
Why do you think so many turn away?
Its because youre ungrateful and you dont care
As soon as someone wants to help
You claim that theyre not fair
Listen to your words one time
That you use to describe your life
Take a moment to absolve them
Before you go reaching for a knife
I to am guilty of the words
That we so often use
I hate my life was once my catch phrase
But thats a life I no longer choose
The most important thing I hope you've learned
Is not to give in until to you die
Remember no one here is a failure
Until you fail to try
