Broken Hearts

You've gone on to someone new.
You've got me feeling down.
Made me want to end my life.
Just to end this frown.

You said you only broke my heart,
But how can that be true?
You said things would get better.
But I'm still in love with you.

You said other people break people's,
Hearts every single day.
And how are you such a horrible person?
By living life this way.

Sadly you didn't break my heart.
You stole it in my sleep.
You still have it to this day.
You're stabbing it softly as I speak

It takes a very special girl,
To make me feel this Weak.
I thought I was stronger then this.
But you've made my heart so meek.

Why is it I pray for death?
How can this even be?
Dear Lord, Please take my life soon,
Living in hell is killing me.

You will never be able to go back,
From all the things you've said.
A cut on my wrist for every lie.
Someday you'll make me dead.

    ur soo true love does equal pain and the sad thing about it sometimes there is just no way to avoid it. love can make or break sumone. i have learnt that. i just try not to make myself to vulnerable. but i have sorta lost all hope in a good relationship coz all mine have been fake, abusive or extreamly painful. u don't wanna turn out like me. but yeh check out my peom "her lil wish" its bout wanting to be loved. well if ya have time. anyway keep up the good work and stay in there you'll find sumone special soon:)

    Excellent poem, truely breath taking, Love stroies seem to be able to relate to alot of people. You definitely grabbed my attention and held in until the very end.
    I can relate and I understand where you are coming from its alot like where I am at this very moment in between a hard place and a rock

    Its reallie touching... my boyfriend did something like that to me before... twice... but soemtimes people think hurting can help them get over someone? whether they realize it or not.. i did something like that to him too to try to get him to let go, i didnt like the other guy but i just rather him let go so he doesnt have to hurt so much...
    in the end we both failed and got back together, 7 months anni in 3 days~
