STONE COLD PILLS

by Thomas A Michel   Nov 22, 2005

I took some pills today,
Just to make this go away.

To leave this life,
And all it's strife.

The pain I feel,
I know it's real.

Deep inside,
I can't hide.

Why is this happening,
Why are you clapping?

Is my death that important to you,
Do you believe it will make your life anew?

Will my end make your problems go away,
Will it make all the troubles in your life go astray?

Well here I go,
The darkness comes slow.

I leave you alone,
With your cold heart of stone.
