She fooled all of her friends
into thinking shes so strong
but when drama starts she trys to run
she gets so scared when shes alone

she goes through the day
with a smile of disguise
and gladly no one notices
the hurt in her eyes

she hides away the pain
and acts like its no big
even though shes thirteen
she feels just like a kid

shes been used and abused
and stabbed from behind
shes so scared to trust a soul
shes afraid she'll get let down

and i bet you'd never guess
that this average looking girl
is just about torn in two
and pretty much hates the world

she trys so hard not to cry
but it tears her apart inside
her broken heart's just filled with

so with no one left to count on
