Forest

by Truest Lies   Nov 23, 2005

Everyone lives,
And everyone dies.
Everyone fails,
And everyone tries.

Few make it far enough,
To truly be there,
While others find happiness,
In the strangest places.

Birds migrate in the winter,
And return in spring,
They ruffle up their feathers,
And they also sing.
Creatures find strength,
Even as the trees die,
And humans should too,
Even if they have to travel a great length.

There will always be joy,
And you can always find laughter,
After the chill has gone,
The animals will be there,
And I will greet them all,
In the middle of the forest that is my life.

Your poems are always related to animals and nature. And I like how you can always link life to nature and vice versa. And more, you make them flow so right. You surprises me all the time. Thanks for sharing. =)
