Alone I Walk

by Sonya   Dec 19, 2003

The wind blowing in my face
Watching the little kids play
How i wish i could just go and play in the sand box
Instead of cry everyday

Life is so hard
when you loose what you want
I would love to go to the toy store and play around
Instead thats what he did behind my back

Down the streets i watch in silence
As couples hold hands and kiss
There i stand alone as a statue
Cold as ice
I wish you where there to hold me
But you no longer like me

Leaves falling from the trees
Tears falling from my eyes
I just let you slip away
As easy as night and day
What i would give to hear you say
I love you

Alone i walk down this dark road
I think people call it life
WIthout you there seems to be no light
Jokes are suppose to be funny
But i didnt laugh

All you do if wonder around thinking who next should i use
Dont come crying back
When nobody wants you
Ill cry and wish you where mine

But the farther i walk the more i forget
But then also..the more i remember
I get the beach and feel the sand
Alone on the border of the sea

I forget about you and me
I forget about everything there is to be
Soak my feet in the water
And it just gets deeper
I leaving now
Im gone

And all the sudden..
im awake
