Eyes Do Not Tell Lies

Look into my blue eyes
& you should realize
I gave you my all
but you just let me fall
I cared about you so much
But I was just your crutch
When she dumped you you came crawling back to me
Why couldn't I open my eyes and see?
You were just on the rebound
& I was the only girl you saw around
Just as my broken heart started to mend
U acted interested again
We started talking again for a week or two
and then it all came unglued
You told me you wanted to hang out
So I came in to see you no doubt
But obviously you didn't want to see me that bad
because you never hung out w/me like you promised and it made me mad
I never heard from you after that
and then reality hit me like a bat
You found someone else again
& maybe she wants to be more than friends
but when she dumps your ass don't come back to me b/c I'm shoving the memories of us behind
and you will have to wait in line
behind the guys that ARE actually worth my precious time

    Hey sweety!
    That was great! I loved it! And i can so relate to that poem! I recenlty went through the exact same situation! And it suprisingly was the best moment of my life! because before that day happen! I really thought that this guy loved me! And that the only reason he came back to me after he broke up with other girls was because he realised that he loved me more! But then reality hit me! He's friends actually ended up coming and telling me that he didnt love me and that after every time we went out that he'd tell them EVERYTHING that happen between us! I mean that didnt bother me! But the fact that he told them about our "private" time thats what got me mad!
    So in the end of it! i dumped him and told him that he was to never talk to ever again! And i ended up going out with he's BEST friend! Who after told me what he always done! Stopped being he's friend to be with me!
    We'v been going out for about 18 months now! And i couldn't be any happier!
    So all im trying to say is that you will find someone new who wont treat you like that! And someone that will love you!
