My eyes

Cant you see
the pain in my eyes
my silent plea
to be free of all the lies

i long to tell you
of the pain i feel
i wish you knew
that my odd smiles aren't real

why don't you see
the lurking shadow
that was once me
the me you never will know

i want to confess
of these feelings i endure
so filled with stress
there is no cure

just look into my eyes
they will tell you all
so you know all my lies
why can't you hear my silent call

    You deserve a *5*! I really like this poem and understand how you feel! It's always hard to live in disguise and not show the real you, because you are afraight people wont understand and accept you for how you are....
