Gone like the wind

by Tess Beautifully Broken   Nov 27, 2005

You look at me,
But you do not see me.

You touch me,
But you do not feel me.

I am screaming,
but you do not hear me.

I am loving you,
But you do not love me back.

Heart's throbbing,
Your words are cutting me,
I am bleeding,
I am needing,
You do not seem to care.

All I ever wanted was for you to love me,
But all you ever wanted was to hurt me.

I do not understand,
What have I done wrong?

You treat me as if I am the wind,
You know I am there but you do not remember.

Love me,
That's all i ever wanted,
Hate me,
that's all you ever did.

It's time that I must leave you,
I turn my back and walk away,
But then you take my shoulder,
you take me in your arms,
you tell me you've always loved me,
but the only thing I do is pull away.

I am exactly like the wind,
The only time you want me there I go away.

Wow this poem is awesome. I would have never thought to relate my love for some like the wind. I especially like the part when it said
"I am exactly like the wind,
The only time you want me there I go away. "
    Awesome poem.
