Holes in my heart

by Katherine A Lee   Nov 29, 2005

There are holes in my heart that can never be refilled

The emptiness inside, it longs very deeply to be fulfilled

Painful jagged edges are added with every mistake

Making me cry is the fastest track to making my heart break

The holes in my heart will take much time to heal

For when they are about to close, I get hurt, and more holes do reveal

I fear that when these holes in my heart become too great

My heart, body, and soul, will be staring at their final fate
