Dreamland Drowned By The Sea

Half the night
I lay awake
Eyes shut tight
My tears a lake

Rest in sleep
Silent and sound
Smiles do creep
Sweet Dreams are found

Half the day
Awake I seem
Dreamland I stay
Until my mind screams

Alert is me
Shaken and stirred
Thoughts of the sea
My vision is blurred

Half the night
I lay awake
Eyes shut tight
My tears a lake

Cycle continues
Round and round
my heart many blues
my dreamland, drowned
