Often times i would deem of you
and your love that was once true-
a promise of love to last forever;
that both of us will sojourn together
but then you left me
with all those broken promises
of a love to endure all troubles
and tears of shattered future.

i never regret the love i gave you
'cause you are my one and only love
but how it hurts to give you up
and breaks my heart to see you go
how am i to say goodbye
to the one i ever loved so dearly
how am i to let go
if my heart never wishes to.

too many questions
as to my oblivion
too many tears shed
as to where i had been led

that once to us belongs
too many hopes
you had filled with holes
where now is the one
that not long has gone.

where now is the face
that kept my heartbeat race?
where now is the place
of love showered by grace?
where now are those lips
dreams of mine it keeps?
where now is your embrace
to the pedestal i was raised?
will i ever feel again
embrace that brought me heaven?
will i ever kiss once more
those lips of yours my love?

if i do try to gather
stars in heaven that glitter
will these make you stay
just another smile away?
if i turn the impossible fantasy
to an unbelievable reality
will i be awaken
from this dark garden?
