All alone

by loren   Dec 4, 2005

All alone was this one girl.
The day she entered into this world.
Her family was very dysfunctional.
Keeping them together was impossible.
She hoped, she dreamed, she prayed.
That her life would get better some day.
Soon did she realize it wasgetting worse.
It seemed like her life and only hers was cursed.
There were hellos and soon goodbyes.
People came, shortly left, some even died.
She'd get attached then out of the blue they disappeared.
She would just sit back and watch. In the mist of it all she shed no tears.
Nobody had her back;nobody understood
They put her down but still her grounds she stood.
This went on for so long.
She was proud of herself for being so strong.
She couldn't understand why this was happening to her.
It didn't seem normal. A nightmare unheard.
She'd sit back and look at her past.
Wondering how long this was going to last.
Nobody was there for her, no family no friends.
She decides to be all alone hoping the pain will end.
Years passed, she made a vow to be independent; on her own.
She had herself, thats all she needed;no longer is she all alone
